Our Culture

At LOWE we are passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives and providing a property service we truly believe in. We have built a professional but informal environment, and a culture of innovation runs through the business where everyone’s voice is heard. We work collaboratively, supporting one another and celebrating each other’s successes and it is because of this that we are a very close-knit team.

Whilst everyone has clear responsibilities, each team member is encouraged to grow within the company and take on new challenges. We want our employees to stay with us for the long-term and will always seek to promote within where possible.

Poppy Lowe, Director

We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view, and we’re always growing our network of people. Our focus is on building an inclusive workplace where difference is welcomed. While we have room to improve, we’re committed to creating a culture where everyone, no matter race, gender, age, religion, or background can do their best work, and feel included and valued.

The LOWE Team

Our Vision

There are currently close to 650,000 vacant properties in the UK. Vacant properties can have a negative impact on the local community, attracting squatters, theft, vandalism and anti-social behaviour, but if used in the right way, they hold the key to helping ease the national housing crisis as well as creating positive social impact within the community.

Working closely with our clients we are providing a viable solution for everyone. We’re working really hard to change the perception of guardianship, providing safe, comfortable and dynamic places for people to live, as well as affordable workspaces for local businesses and innovators, and a space for charities to thrive through charitable occupation. At the same time, we’re securing vacant buildings against squatting, mitigating business rates and lowering insurance premiums for property owners. It’s a win-win for everyone.

Tim Lowe, Founder & Director

Our Mission

We are on a mission to support key workers, innovators and placemakers with affordable spaces to live and thrive in. They are the lifeblood of our economy, giving so much back to our communities, but all too often, are priced out of the areas they live or work in, forcing them to endure long commutes and high transportation costs. By utilising vacant buildings for workspace or accommodation, we can significantly improve this.

Our aim is to create thriving communities, positive spaces that are treated with respect and inspiring places where people can live and thrive. Achieving this means we can provide property owners with a low-cost, professional and reliable solution to keeping their buildings safe and secure, often saving them money at the same time.
