More than anything, the last 18 months has demonstrated the importance of ‘purpose’ and creating social impact. We’ve successfully launched some great platforms, including the LOWE Foundation and the Ambassador Programme, and we have some fantastic guardians doing innovative and creative things.
At the same time, we’ve grown both geographically (with property guardianships now in Oxford, Bournemouth, Brighton and Winchester) as well as in-house, with our dedicated Property Services team and LOWE Maintenance operatives.
In 2020, we diversified the type of solution we offer through LOWE Works, our workspace concept that utilises vacant buildings to offer high quality workspace in local neighbourhoods. This segment of our business grew as we realised that some of our clients’ properties were better suited to affordable workspace. We also witnessed an increasing demand for high quality, flexible workspace (mainly driven by the COVID-19 pandemic).
In light of this, and following the success of LOWE Works, I’m pleased to announce that we have officially rebranded to The LOWE Group. The change in name reflects the diversification of our property services to include affordable workspace, charitable occupation (such as our collaboration with Arts charity SET) property guardianship, business rate mitigation and security.
It’s exciting times ahead for The LOWE Group as we diversify the way that we manage our clients’ vacant properties with bespoke solutions. One thing is for sure, we will never deviate from the values at the core of our business, and we will always propose the most appropriate solution for our clients. What’s more, guardianships remain at the very heart of our business!
